Good News Club

Concord Presbyterian Church conducts a weekly after-school Good News Club at Gardner Elementary School from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM.  Our meeting will be held in the 5th Grade Science Room.

What is a Good News Club?
Concord has been involved in the Good News Club for several years at Gardner Elementary School. The age group currently served is 2nd through 5th grades. Currently over 3,400 weekly school-related Good News Clubs are held across the nation, reaching more than 119,000 students each week.

What is taught in Good News Club?
Each week the teacher presents an exciting Bible lesson using colorful materials from CEF Press®. This year we will be teaching about God's Power as seen through Moses and the escape from Egypt. We will also talk about God's Sovereignty by studying the life of Joseph. This time also includes songs, Scripture memory verse, and craft that are focused on the lesson’s theme. Good News Club provides an opportunity for children to learn about Jesus and trust Him as their Savior. All children are encouraged to attend a local church.
Dates for the Fall Session are September 12 - November 14, 2017
Winter dates will be announced!
